Disclaimer
Certly is a certificate tracking and reminder system. It does not verify certificate authenticity or guarantee regulatory compliance; reviewing each document remains your quality team's judgement.
What Certly does
Certly stores the certificates you and your suppliers upload, tracks the expiry date recorded against each one, and sends chase emails on your thresholds. The status on every screen and in the PDF export is computed from those recorded dates.
What it does not do
It does not inspect a document, confirm that it is genuine, that it was issued by the body it names, or that its contents meet a BRC, SQF, FSSC 22000 or customer requirement. A certificate shown as current is a document on file with a future expiry date, not a document Certly has verified.
Where your judgement applies
Reviewing and accepting each document remains your quality team's decision, as does the accuracy of the dates and certificate types you record. Certly is a tracking and reminder system, and responsibility for your audit outcome stays with your plant.
